Product description

1: Permanent magnet drum magnetic separator can be divided into dry magnetic separator and wet magnetic separator according to the different materials processed.
Dry magnetic separators are suitable for dry and water-scarce areas, which require materials with low moisture content, obvious magnetic strength, and independent and free material particles.
Wet magnetic separator is a commonly used magnetic separation equipment in iron ore processing plants. It requires water as a medium and can separate ores with relatively fine particles.


2: According to the working method of magnetic separation, it can be divided into cylinder magnetic separator and hanging magnetic separator.
The permanent magnet cylinder magnetic separator uses the magnetic force generated by the permanent magnet magnetic system to attract highly magnetic minerals to the surface of the cylinder, and rotates with the cylinder. After being separated from the magnetic field, it is discharged from the machine under the action of gravity. Outside, non-magnetic materials are discharged from the tail port to complete the sorting operation.

The suspended magnetic separator is a device suspended above a belt conveyor or vibrating conveyor to recover strong magnetic materials such as iron sheets and iron blocks mixed in the conveyed materials.

Magnetic separators are the main ferrous metal separators in scrap processing plants. It separates most of the steel before any other separation process. It tends to handle high volumes of heavy sharp ferrous metals and therefore needs to be of very heavy-duty construction, reliable and efficient.
